This CM at Risk project consisted of approximately 105,000 square feet of phased renovations distributed over six levels of the existing hospital. Nearly every major department within the facility was renovated during the course of this project. These include surgical services and recovery areas, emergency services, neonatal intensive care, newborn nursery, nuclear medicine, cardiac catherization, central sterilization, patient care units, public thoroughfare, the conference center and administrative areas. The project phasing plan was expanded to include 35 phases while the overall schedule was contracted to 24 months, a full three (3) months ahead of schedule. The result... a net savings to GBMC of over $200,000!
