The Anne Arundel Medical Center's 2nd Floor Pediatrics Renovation was a 6,400 square feet renovation of an existing medical/surgical unit into a pediatric unit. The theme of the Pediatrics Unit, "Under the Sea," is quite evident throughout the project. Wherever you look, sea creatures abound. The existing carpet and VCT were cut out in areas where the likenesses of sea creatures were inlaid. The walls were also stenciled with sea creatures. The new 250 gallon salt water aquarium brings the unit to life. Anne Arundel Medical Center is proud of its state-of-the-art pediatrics unit, which is so beautifully wrapped in a wonderful and pleasant environment.
