Schafer provided professional construction management at risk services for this three (3) phased project consisting of a 15,000 square foot addition and 63,727 square feet of renovations of the academic building, including classrooms, offices, music room, art and photo labs, and common areas. The project contains critical mission tasks necessary to coordinate renovations and relocation of the campus television and radio stations. The project is registered with US Green Building Council for their LEED Certification program and has been designed and built to achieve a Silver rating. Major LEED features include three “green roofs,” use of Low VOC materials, lyptus wood, recycled HDPE plastics, and recycled ceramic tiles, project also includes day lighting provisions.
