Anne Arundel County Public Schools has selected J. Vinton Schafer and Sons as the construction manager for the Revitalization and Additions to Folger McKinsey Elementary School.

Arlington County Public Schools has selected J. Vinton Schafer and Sons as the construction manager for the Thomas Jefferson Middle School Improvement Project; Schafer is the construction manager for various on-call projects from 2009-2012.

Towson University has selected J. Vinton Schafer as the construction manager for the Burkshire Conference Center Envelope Improvements on the Towson campus.

University of Maryland College Park has selected J. Vinton Schafer as the construction manager for the Addition to the Engineering Lab on the main UMCP campus, and the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute Northeast Regional Training Center in Aberdeen, Maryland.

Baltimore County Public Schools has selected J. Vinton Schafer as the construction manager for various on-call projects.

Tourism Council of Frederick County has selected J. Vinton Schafer as the construction manager for the New Visitors Center Renovations.Construction is set to end late August 2010.
